COMMON MISTAKES.
 
CORRECT THE MISTAKES:
1.my friends come tonight at 8.00
2.my mother was living abroad when she was young.
3.he was living in Paris for 3 years.
4.he arrived to town and went to the hotel where he already reserved a room.
5.when he entered the room,everything was disorganized;the chilren fought, books lied on the floor, the phone rang.
6.it's a long time I didn't see her.
7.look!the bride and groom arrived!
8.this is the first time he was in London.
9.that was the worst film I saw.
10..Let's get everything ready before the guests will arrive.
11..I KNEW THAT HE IS LYING ,BUT WHAT CAN I DO?
12..He wanted to know what had David done.
12.He asked me wha time was it.
13. I am living here for ten years.
14..MY MOTHER DON'T LET ME TO DRIVE THE CAR.
15..BY THE END OF THE YEAR, THE RENOVATIONS OF OUR HOUSE FINISH.

5.When he entered the room,everything was disorganized;the chilren were fighting , books were lying on the floor, the phone was ringing.
6.I haven't seen her for a long time.
7.look!the bride and groom have arrived!
8.This is the first time he has been to London.
9.that was the worst film I had seen .

I think that the 14th sentence should be MY MOTHER DOESN'T LET ME DRIVE THE CAR

yulia, you are right.and in the 9th sentence there is a mistake:THAT WAS THE WORST FILM I HAVE EVER SEEN.(AFTER SUPERLATIVES WE USE PRESENT PERFECT.

1. Yesterday, I went to shopping in town with my best friend.
2. We took the bus because itís difficult to doing park the car near the shops.
3. There was a sale on in the shoe shop, but they didnít never have anything I liked in my size.
4. I did find a nice new swimsuit for summer which was on sale in the department store. I was a thrilled because I got it for half price.

5. Around lunchtime, we stopped for a eating pizza even though Iím supposed to be dieting. Well, it was the weekend, wasnít it?
6. After lunch we went to the new sports shop near the cinema. My friend was looking for a new tennis racquet, sheís been had her old one for years.
7. I donít play tennis myself, but I have to admit the one she have bought looked lovely and I was surprised how light it was.8. By the end of the day Iíd spent much more a money than I'd wanted to,my bags felt so heavy.9. I guess I will have to be taking careful with my spending for the rest of the month.
